Due to current circumstances, the first outing of our Hazleton POWER! Litter Cleanup Crew or 2020 will be held *VIRTUALLY* from April 25th through May 3rd in conjunction with the annual Great American Cleanup PA initiative.

Participation is simple and will afford you some time outdoors with some fresh air and exercise while helping to clean up our community! You may choose your cleanup area and work whenever is convenient for you between the dates of April 25th through May 3rd.

As an added incentive, Sanzi Chiropractic, P.C. has donated gift certificates to George Burger & Sons Inc., Zanolini Nursery, and Ochs Farm Market for a contest! Anyone who participates in the cleanup and does the following will be entered in a drawing to win one of the gift cards to use to do some planting or beautification in their own back yard:
1.) Entrants must post a photo of their cleanup efforts to this Facebook event page with a caption of where you cleaned. Contest is open from 12:00 a.m. on April 25 through 11:59 p.m. on May 3.
2.) You must join the Hazleton POWER! Litter Clean Up Crew 🌎Facebook group, and must "like" the pages of Hazleton POWER, George Burger & Sons Inc., Zanolini Nursery, Ochs Farm Market and Sanzi Chiropractic, P.C. to be eligible
3.) All eligible entrants will be put into a drawing which will be announced on May 4th.


-We ask that you adhere to the COVID-19 social distancing and safety guidelines and only do cleanup activities with members of your own household.
-Please use your own trash bags and dispose of what you collect with your regular curbside garbage.
-Make sure to stay safe by wearing gloves, a safety vest or brightly-colored clothing if you'll be working near a road, and closed-toed shoes.
-Be mindful of not touching your face or hair until you have had a chance to wash and sanitize your hands upon completion of your efforts.
-Do not open bottles, jugs, coolers or other sealed containers. Report any suspicious or dangerous items to the police.
